Architects For Learning is a thriving private practice in the metro-west area of Boston. Under the direction of Dr. Bonnie Singer, an internationally recognized expert in language, learning, and literacy, it serves K-12 and college students whose challenges with language, literacy, executive functions, and/or social communication influence their academic success. Architects For Learning is particularly well known for its work with the EmPOWER method of teaching expository writing and Brain Frames strategies, which support listening, speaking, reading, writing, executive functions, and higher-level thinking, both of which Dr. Singer co-authored. A highly collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team, Architects For Learning values the unique contributions of each individual on its staff and encourages continuous professional growth.
Company History
Architects For Learning was founded in 1996 by Bonnie Singer, Ph.D. In 2004 it began to expand its clinical staff. Currently, it employs professionals with a range of backgrounds and areas of expertise, including speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, general education, and special education.
